A family playing Treasure Hunt Manchester together on Mother’s day

It’s that time of year again, looking for the perfect way to show your mum how great she is. Give her the perfect gift this year—an afternoon with you! Put the chocolates back on the shelf and add a Treasure Hunt Manchester game to your basket.

Take your mum on an adventure this Mother’s day with a trip into town to play Treasure Hunt Manchester. It’s a fantastic way to spend some quality time together, getting out the house and making memories. Gift vouchers are available too, so you can decide together when to go - get yours here.

“Two friends and our two 13 year old children (boy & girl) wanted to go into Manchester for the day, but there weren't any activities open, so we decided to do a tour to show the kids a bit of historic Manchester. Turns out we didn't know much either! Was really good fun and very interesting, great to do in semi lockdown when the streets are quiet and you can stop and look up! Difficult age to engage kids, but they really got involved and had a great day.”

It’s designed for adults, so you’ll have a laugh together (ages 8+ are welcome too if you want to make a family day of it).

You’ll have to work together and put your essential pirate skills to the test! Follow treasure maps, solve cryptic clues, and look carefully around the city to find the answers. It’s a great way to connect with each other and share in the thrill of the adventure.

Plenty of stops 🍺 ☕

Don’t worry, there’s plenty of time for stops along the way if Mum rebels! We’ve planned a carefully designed route that passes some of Manchester’s best pubs and cafes so you won’t go thirsty.

The Wharf is a great pub for a half-time pitstop. It offers a wide range of beers and wine and serves up delicious pub grub. If the weathers good, you can sit on the outdoor terrace and enjoy stunning views of the Manchester Ship Canal. For something a little more hip, check out Three Little Words. This stylish cocktail bar is housed in a historic railway arch, with a fantastic selection of expertly crafted cocktails made from house-distilled spirits and fresh ingredients, served in a chic and intimate atmosphere that is perfect for a special time out.

Last minute? No problem! ⌛

What’s more, if you’re disorganised like me and you’re reading this on Sunday morning, no problem! You can book last minute (unlike all the restaurants which are now booked up 😬).

“Had an absolute blast, only with they did other quests around Manchester as would definitely do more of these. Unlike other of these app based hunts, this was very specific to the city and had great history lessons included”
